The Church of England Inquisition
Inquisitee: But it hurts!
Inquisitor: Sorry - loosen it up a bit will you Harold?
(stolen from Eddie Izzard)
he he! HOLY GHOST! HOLY GHOST!
How charming. How could such a place exist and yet somehow Merchant/Ivory isn't filming some obscure time period film about aristocratic England from the 1800's?
Something like "The Remains of the Howard's End Day"
Okay, I admit I do love both movies...
Or some new Kenneth Branagh film, co-starring Richard Briers, Brian Blessed...and that scissor-based sculpture from Dead Again? And hopefully no reappearance by De Niro as Frankenstein's monster..."you running from me? Are you running from me? There's nobody else here pieced together from multiple cadavers and reanimated...you must be running from me!"
Karl, the scissors, such memories. I will have to watch that again. That with a double feature of Raising Cain...STOP IT! STOP IT!
