Cough Cough Hack....Me Back ??
Yes, I am back after over a month of illness. It has not quite gone away! I was hit in June with a nasty respiratory infection. Unfortunately it was viral in nature, which means there is little one can due but rest and treat the symptoms. I spent many weeks not working, and as lovely as that sounds to most, I found that I missed my co-workers and hated being stuck in the house. I finally am back to work, but still get some horrible stares from my fellow employees of NAG (that is National Australia Group...my husband has fun with this and says that I must have found the right profession if I work for NAG as I am so good at it).
Those that do not know me well do not know how terrible my cough can be and they THINK my work cough is terrible, but it is severely muted! I find myself holding back and then running into the toilet (bathroom to you Americans..I hope you know that I am not actually IN the toilet) and then letting loose Time Bandits-Ogre Style. "Now I can really cough!!!!!" (Or is his wife just going to start calling for Benson?)
A couple of things have been happening. Firstly, our Manny has given up his changepurse (AKA fuzzy dice, family jewels, etc). Has he calmed down at all? Well, NO!!! Here he is in his favorite window. I think he likes it because it is long and the perfect size for a cat.
We went to Inveraray for a day for Andrew's Birthday. I spent most of the time in bed as I was worn out and ill. However, Andy got some nice pictures. My Florida pals are probably snickering as Inverrary in South Florida is a completely different place, mainly where old people live. It was an interesting drive as we had to go North, then West, and then South again as this place is on a peninsula. I have never driven down there and the ride was lovely.
My next post will have my boring post card tour of Andy's pics!!!!! Stay tuned!!!!!

Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. Get well, for Christ's sake.
